Workspaces

The Workspaces section lists the Workspaces you can access in this Organization. Organization admins can manage the full list; other members see the Workspaces they belong to.

Before You Begin

  • Sign in to the Organization you want to manage.
  • You can browse the list as an Organization member. Creating and editing Workspaces requires organization admin access.

Find and Open a Workspace

  1. Open the Organization, then choose Workspaces.
  2. Search by Workspace name or slug to narrow the cards.
  3. Review a card's status and Your access section. Organization-authorized viewers may also see Workspace counts; a dash means a count is unavailable to your role.
  4. Choose Open to enter a Workspace when its status is available.

Create a Workspace

  1. Choose Add Workspace. If you do not have permission, the button is disabled with a hint.
  2. Enter a name. The slug is generated from the name until you edit it; use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  3. Optionally choose a template Workspace.
  4. Choose Create. The new Workspace appears with its provisioning status. Open it when the status is available.

Edit a Workspace

  1. On a Workspace card, choose the edit control.
  2. Update its name, slug, signup code, locale, timezone, public visibility, or whether signup is allowed.
  3. Save your changes. Changing the slug opens an impact review and confirmation before it is saved.

What You Should See

Workspace cards show your access and current status. New Workspaces can take time to finish provisioning, and their Open button stays unavailable until they are ready.

See Workspace Settings for settings managed inside a Workspace, and Organizations for the other organization sections.
