Weekly Release Notes - Week of September 17 - September 24, 2026

What's New This Week

This week we're excited to introduce Routing Rules — a new way to decide who answers each inbound call, text, and email, configured right on the phone number or inbox it belongs to. Instead of juggling separate per-channel switches, you can now build an ordered list of rules that chooses a destination by time of day and audience, with a built-in Test dialog to preview each channel before you go live.

Alongside that, we've made the platform more dependable in the places you rely on most: phone number migrations now show their progress and recover from a failed step, the in-app assistant handles longer conversations more smoothly, and we fixed several issues affecting email attachments, member merges, and automation that writes to records. We also added organization-wide API keys, date stamping for web enrollments, multilingual consent messages, and more accurate attribution in your activity feed. As always, we continue ongoing security and reliability hardening across the platform.

New Features

Routing Rules for Phone Numbers and Inboxes

Administrators can now define ordered routing rules on each phone number and inbox — choosing who answers inbound calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and email by time of day, audience, and saved member filters. Each rule binds to a single destination, a human-answer attempt can fall through to the next matching rule when nobody picks up, and a Test dialog lets you preview each channel before publishing.

Site Enrollment Date Stamping

Web enrollment form submissions now record a write-once enrollment date alongside the existing web-form source tag, so you can reliably report on when someone enrolled.

Organization-Bound API Keys

Integrators serving an entire organization can now mint a single key that reaches every current and future workspace in that organization, instead of managing a separate key for each workspace.

Discord Mention-Only Thread Replies

Discord bots gain a new respond mode that replies only when mentioned — and keeps following along in a thread it was already mentioned in — without running a decision on every message.

Voicemail Transcription Events and Reads by Identifier

Organization webhook consumers can now subscribe to a voicemail-transcribed event that fires once a recording is ready, and read calls, voicemails, and chats by their unique identifier.

Consent replies (STOP, START, HELP), the "not subscribed" and "already opted out" notices, and the phone-confirmation ceremony are now available in Spanish as well as English, so callers receive consent copy in the language they're speaking.

Improvements

Phone Number Management

  • Migration progress is now shown on the organization phone list, including the current step, with clear warnings for a running, failed, canceled, stopped, or unreadable run.
  • A failed number re-attach can now be retried without moving the number, and a stalled status check no longer blocks the retry.
  • Platform-account numbers are now listed, and an administrator can move one into a workspace.
  • Added a last-name template variable and a matching automation variable, so greetings and conditions can address members by last name.
  • Introduced a workspace-scoped enrollment link filter that mints a member-scoped credential for each send recipient, replacing the older fixed enrollment URL.
  • Added an explicit site link filter, and authenticated outbound Site links with scoped sessions plus a login fallback.

Assistant and Workspace Chat

  • The built-in assistant now compacts long conversations into a stored checkpoint and shows a progress indicator while it does, keeping extended chats responsive.
  • Assistant turns that run long are now closed out cleanly instead of being cut off.

Journeys and Automation

  • The Journey editor now surfaces save issues directly, makes saved drafts visible and discardable, and no longer strands you on a draft that cannot be activated.
  • Long-running automation steps that stall now report the step they are waiting on instead of failing silently.
  • Journeys created from a template no longer omit required pieces.

Activity Feed and Audit

  • Actions taken by Agents through a member session are now attributed to the Agent, giving a more accurate record of who did what.
  • Voicemail transcription now appears in the activity feed at the moment it completes.

Voice

  • Voice agents now offer additional reasoning controls in their Options.

Business Registration (SMS)

  • Campaign content is now locked after approval to prevent submission conflicts, with clearer handling of provider rejection messages.
  • An operator can end a brand registration so it can be restarted.

Administration

  • Superuser navigation now lives in the left sidebar for quicker access.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where inline images in archived email PDFs could be matched to the wrong attachment, so signatures and logos now render correctly.
  • Resolved a problem that could silently drop field values written by automation when two updates raced for the same record.
  • Corrected member merge handling so account roles and unique contact details are adopted cleanly.
  • Fixed an issue where private folders could be missed when exporting or transferring a workspace.
  • Resolved a problem that prevented automatic Bundle upgrades from being dispatched after an interruption.
  • Corrected Form imports so clinical values are preserved.
  • Fixed an issue where a snippet with malformed content could break rendering for every template that referenced it.
  • Addressed edge cases in date-stamp handling on web enrollment forms.
  • Fixed outbound link handling on Sites so recipient links authenticate correctly.

Performance Enhancements

  • Increased processing capacity for the API to improve throughput during peak usage.
  • Made workspace exports and transfers faster when large numbers of private folders are involved.
  • Streamlined template composition so a single invalid snippet no longer slows or blocks rendering.
  • Upgraded the platform's background workflow engine for improved reliability and scalability.
  • Improved call handling so live calls hand off gracefully when a service instance is being replaced during a deployment.

These updates are rolling out throughout the week. If you have any questions or feedback, please reach out to our support team.
