CEL Expressions
CEL expressions decide whether a condition is met or compute a field value. Start with the context where the expression runs: a Task guard, a Journey condition, an Event Rule, or a Form field can provide different variables and types.
- Variables: the declared static paths and their types.
- Contexts and functions: namespaces and functions available for each context.
For a Task guard, for example, member.id > 0 checks the Member ID. Use the editor's validation with the actual Form schema before saving an expression that reads Form fields. For a product-oriented walkthrough of where CEL is used and how to write conditions, see Using CEL Expressions.
