Documo Fax Connection

Use the Documo Fax connection when faxes arrive through a Documo mFax account. This is separate from receiving faxes on a Gravity Rail phone number; see the Inbound Fax user guide for the phone-number workflow. Add and configure the Documo connection from App Connections.

Provider credentials and webhook​

The connection needs a Documo API key so Gravity Rail can retrieve received fax documents. In Documo, create the key from Settings → API; use the key and service environment supplied by Documo. Production and sandbox must match: a key from one environment cannot be used with the other.

After installation, use the Documo connection's setup details to get the webhook URL and Basic Authentication credentials. Enter those values in the Documo webhook configuration. Use Documo's webhook guide and API documentation for the provider-side configuration and key permissions.

Where received faxes go​

Choose a Member or Agent as the fax owner and a landing folder the owner can access. Gravity Rail files received documents in that folder. A processing Workflow is optional; without one, the fax is still received and filed. The Inbound Fax user guide describes document ownership, folder access, and phone-number fax behavior.
