Routines
Choose a Workflow and audience, then run the Routine on demand. Read the transcript
A Routine starts an existing Workflow for the audience you choose. Leave it On-demand to start runs yourself, or enable a time schedule or webhook trigger.
Create and run a Routine
- Open Routines and choose New Routine.
- Select the Workflow, then choose whether it runs for you, another Member, or Members matching a filter.
- Leave timing On-demand for a manual run, give the Routine a name, and create it.
- Open the saved Routine, choose Run Now, select the Member for this run, and confirm.
The saved Routine shows its Workflow and audience. A manual run starts that Workflow for the selected Member; this does not enable automatic triggers.
Configure automatic triggers
To start it automatically, enable a time schedule or webhook trigger in the Routine settings. Time schedules support a one-time run, a recurring CRON schedule, or a repeating interval. The selected schedule displays its relevant timing fields.
When both automatic triggers are off, the Routine is On-demand and the overview shows Automatic triggers off. If a webhook is enabled but the time schedule is off, the webhook can still start it and the overview shows Time schedule off. Run Now remains available in either case.
For a recurring schedule, enter a CRON expression, such as 0 9 * * 1-5 for 9 a.m. weekdays. You can also set the schedule timezone; when none is selected, the workspace timezone applies.
