Chat Filters
A Chat Filter selects Chats, not Members or Form entries. Open Chats to build conditions, preview the matching list, and save the filter for reuse.
Build a Filter
- Open the filter condition row above the Chat list, or choose New Filter in the saved-filter section.
- Expand the condition editor with Edit and select the field, operator, and value for each condition.
- Use condition groups to express AND or OR. Review the displayed condition summary before saving.
- Check the matching Chats in the list. Complete any unfinished conditions before saving.
- Choose Save, enter a name, and confirm.
The editor offers Chat-specific fields such as channel, owner, participants, Workflow, labels, and whether a Chat needs a response. Use the fields and operators offered by the editor; available choices depend on the field.
Load and Update a Saved Filter
Select a saved filter in the Chats navigation. Edit its conditions to preview a change, then use Save to update the selected filter. An unsaved change affects the current view; save it when you want to reuse it.
Use the saved filter's menu to rename, pin or unpin, or delete it. Pinning keeps it in the pinned filter list. Filter-management controls require the relevant Chat administration permission.
Filter Scope
A Chat Filter operates on the Chats you can access. It does not grant access to another Member's private Chats.
Member selection is documented separately in Member Filters. Filtering Form entries has its own Form Filters guide.
