Global Search
Global search lets you jump to any resource in your workspace — sites, workflows, forms, agents, phone numbers, app connections, calendars, milestones — without navigating menus. It also surfaces navigation sections and the other organizations and workspaces you belong to.
Opening Search
You can open global search three ways:
| Method | How |
|---|---|
/ key | Press / from anywhere outside a text field |
Cmd+K / Ctrl+K | Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) |
| Menu search field | Open the top-left workspace/organization dropdown and type in the search box |
Typing in the menu search field and pressing Enter, or typing a character, hands off to the full-page overlay pre-filled with what you typed.
What It Searches
Results are grouped into three categories:
- Sections — navigation areas in the current workspace (Dashboard, Workflows, Sites, and so on)
- Workspace resources — sites, forms (data types), workflows, phone numbers, app connections, agents, calendars, and milestones
- Organizations & workspaces — the orgs and workspaces you belong to, matched by name or slug
Results appear as each category resolves, so you'll see some results almost immediately while others load.
Note: Members are not included in search results. Member data may include protected health information (PHI), so this surface intentionally excludes them.
Narrowing Results
A filter rail on the left side of the overlay shows each category with a live count. Click All to see everything, or click a category name to show only that type.
Keyboard Navigation
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
↑ / ↓ | Move up or down through results |
Enter | Open the selected result |
Esc | Close the search overlay |
The first result is pre-selected when the overlay opens, so you can often type a few characters and press Enter without touching the mouse.
