# Build a recovery appointment support Journey

## Recovery check-ins

A patient in recovery needs help arranging a follow-up visit. Here's what we'll build.

## Recovery check-ins

Staff fill in their Recovery check-ins record.

## Recovery check-ins

We send the patient a check-in email.

## Recovery check-ins

We wait for their answer.

## Recovery check-ins

If they want appointment help, we tell the scheduler and thank them.

## Recovery check-ins

If not, we send a short note.

## Recovery check-ins

Once they've answered, we stop.

## Recovery check-ins

A Journey is how we put it all together.

## Recovery check-ins record

First, the Form that holds their record.

## Create the Recovery check-ins Form

In Knowledge, create a Recovery check-ins Form. Add Appointment help as a Boolean: yes or no.

## Check-in email

Now the Journey itself, starting with the check-in email.

## Create the Journey

In Journeys, create a V2 Journey and name its first step.

## Auto enroll the program

Auto Enroll: members with the Enrolled label join automatically.

## Ask about appointments

Add a Send Email action asking if they need help arranging a visit.

## Wait for answer

Next, waiting for their answer.

## Wait for the recorded answer

Add a step that waits until Appointment help is recorded.

## Separate the answers

Then add one step for each answer.

## Route yes and no

Yes goes one way, No the other. With no answer yet, it keeps waiting.

## Yes: inform scheduler

Next, when they want help.

## Hand off to scheduling

On the Yes step, the Scheduling Coordinator gets a notification to contact them.

## Acknowledge the request

Their email says scheduling will review the request.

## No: short note

And when they don't.

## Acknowledge the other answer

No gets a note on how to ask later.

## Stop once answered

Finally, when to stop.

## Review the scheduling route

Both answers then reach the End.

## The recovery Journey

That's the recovery Journey, built and ready to review.
