# Build a member re-engagement Journey

## Member re-engagement

A patient has stopped taking part. Here's what we'll build.

## Member re-engagement

Staff fill in their Re-engagement record.

## Member re-engagement

We email the patient an invitation back.

## Member re-engagement

Still Inactive after three days? We check in once more.

## Member re-engagement

If their status is missing, we tell the outreach coordinator.

## Member re-engagement

When they're Participating or Opted out, we stop.

## Member re-engagement

A Journey is how we put it all together.

## Re-engagement record

First, the Form that holds their record.

## Create the Re-engagement Form

In Knowledge, create a Re-engagement Form. Add Participation status as an Enum: Inactive, Participating or Opted out. It's Admin Only, so only staff set it.

## Invitation email

Now the Journey itself, starting with the invitation.

## Create the Journey

In Journeys, create a V2 Journey and name its first step.

## Start with inactive status

Auto Enroll: members whose Participation status is Inactive join automatically.

## Offer a way back

Add a Send Email action. It invites them back, or lets them opt out.

## 3 days: check in again

Next, checking in again.

## Wait before another check-in

Add a Check participation step that waits three days.

## Split the follow-up

Then one step for each route: a second check-in, or a status check.

## Match still inactive

This route checks the Form. Still Inactive goes to the second check-in.

## Send a second check-in

On the second check-in, add one more email inviting them back.

## Inform coordinator

And if their status is missing, we tell the coordinator.

## Check missing status

Otherwise, the Outreach Coordinator is asked to check their status. No member email.

## Participating or Opted out

Finally, when to stop.

## Stop on participation or opt-out

Add two End Conditions: Participating, or Opted out. Either one ends the Journey.

## The re-engagement Journey

That's the re-engagement Journey, built and ready to review.
