## Using Actions

An Action responds to an event in your workspace. Open a rule to review its trigger and response.

## Open Actions

Open Actions from the sidebar. Choose an event on the left to see what runs on the right. Both of these are marked Disabled, so nothing happens yet.

## Read the rule

Open an action to see its settings: who it notifies — here, the current owner — and the message it sends. It stays disabled, so nothing runs.

## Check what happened

Choose Runs for an action's executions: this one has no recorded executions yet, because it is disabled. Each attempt appears here once it runs.

## Review the rule and its activity

Review an Action’s trigger and response, then check its activity. Find the steps at docs.gravityrail.com.
