# Getting around Gravity Rail

## Getting around Gravity Rail

Welcome to Gravity Rail. The sidebar is how you reach Chats, Workflows, Knowledge, Connections and Settings. Here is what each one holds.

## Your workspace at a glance

The dashboard opens on what is active in your workspace — today's chats by channel, and how far setup has got. Customize changes this one; New adds another.

## What needs your attention

Activity shows recent events in your workspace, newest first. Switch to Priority for the chats and escalations waiting on a person.

## Your personal power user

Manager AI is a chat for running your workspace. Ask a question in plain language, and it answers from your own data or carries out the change for you, with your permissions. The suggested queries are a place to start.

## Keep people engaged over time

A Journey puts contact with a Member in order over time. Open one to see its steps: a welcome, a wait, then the follow-up each Member gets.

## Guide each conversation

A Workflow guides a single conversation — a voice call, a text exchange, or a Chat on your website. It holds the instructions the Agent follows and the information and abilities it can use.

## Work that repeats

Routines run a Workflow on a schedule or on demand. Open one to see the Workflow it runs, who it runs as, and when. This one is on demand, with automatic triggers off — you run it when you need it.

## When this, do that

Actions respond to workspace events. Choose the event on the left and what happens on the right.

## Your public pages

Sites holds your public pages — each with a theme, its own pages, and a Workflow to answer visitors' questions.

## What your team knows

Knowledge groups your Forms, Files, Labels and Calendars — the facts and records your team writes down once and reuses.

## Structured records

Forms hold structured information about your Members. Open Enrollment to see saved names, contact details, and consent. In Settings, Fields changes what you collect, Access decides who can use it, and Event Rules respond when records change.

## How you're doing

Metrics is where you define the measurements you want to track.

## Your team

Members lists people in your workspace. Invite colleagues and manage their roles here.

## Where work arrives

Connections holds your phone numbers, email Inboxes, and connected apps like Salesforce.

## Make it yours

Open Settings for your workspace details. General holds the workspace name, language and timezone; Business Hours has its own page.

## Every conversation

Chats lists the conversations you can reach. Each row names the member, the Agent, and the Workflow behind it.

## Start with Members and Workflows

You have seen every section in the sidebar and what each one is for. Start with Members to invite your colleagues, and Workflows to build your first piece of work. More at docs.gravityrail.com.
